"Nazo no Yunzabit! Kami-sama no Uchuusen wo Sagase"

Goku, Gohan, and Kuririn are taken to the hospital to have their wounds mended. Everyone wonders how it will be possible to get to Namek, and Mr. Popo shows up with the answer. He takes Buruma to see Kami's old, abandoned spaceship, which is still in perfect working order. They take it for a little test drive and appear in the orbit of Jupiter within a matter of seconds. Buruma and Mr. Popo celebrate the success, knowing that this is their one and only ticket for bringing their friends back to life.

Nothing much to say about this episode, save for the fact that it was snipped to an incredible extent. Every few seconds there would be another little cut. It was a real pain in the butt for me, actually, to keep the VCR's synchronized. Pause, rewind, pause, rewind, pause...

Also, those ungodly FUNimation-added sound effects were out in full force throughout this one. I have a hard time thinking of anything more irritating and distracting than these stupid, inappropriate... (sigh) The sound editors need to be hung, it's that simple.

I can't be certain (since the second letter is blocked by a pole) but I think that the hospital everyone is laid up in is called "Wukong Hospital." Why is this interesting you ask? Because "Wukong" is the Chinese reading of Goku's name!

(45 sec.) Buruma takes a good, long look at Mr. Popo and considers the peril of getting on the flying carpet with this odd-looking fellow.

Just as she is pulling herself onto it, Kame Sennin reaches for her backside, to give her a little push (he's just trying to help, of course...) which she notices just in time.
